Yamaha XS description

Selling my Yamaha XS 650 - 1980
I purchased this motorcycle approx 2 years ago.
Now has only 3,800 miles
Previous owner started to style after a Cafe Racer look.
I have owned plenty of bikes, but this Yamaha is the most
fun to ride / VERY Reliable - Starts every time - No Issues.
After having Knee surgery, it  just doesn't make sense o keep this great motorcycle.

PS: The bike has some ( dents / dings / scratches ) - Original paint on tank, but fender paint
is not original.
I do have the Yamaha ( emblems and original seat )
The pics make the bike look a bit too clean - could use a professional polish, etc...

NZ Superbike Series Points Leader Is A Grandfather Of Three!

Tue, 14 Jan 2014

Dennis Charlett is stamping his authority on the New Zealand Superbike championship. The 45 year-old father of five and grandfather of three (no, those aren’t typos) won the first three races of the season during the series opener in Christchurch, placing him firmly at the top of the points standings heading into round two at Levels Raceway, near Timaru. The championship favorite certainly got the wake-up call as Taupo’s Suzuki rider Scott Moir raced to a convincing win in Saturday’s Superbike race, while Charlett was forced to settle for fourth place.

2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada

Tue, 18 Mar 2014

Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.
