Yamaha XS description

Here is a 1978 Yamaha XS400 project with 5,877 actual miles! bike has been inside storage for three years ran when parked but leaked gas from the bottom of the tank, there was a attempt to patch the leak but still leaks, motor kicks over with good compression with the kicker on the side of the bike, throttle is free, front brake doesn't work rear stops the wheel but drags on the rotor so it might need to be unbolted to push the bike around, clutch lever pulls in,tranni shifts threw the gears, might be some rust here and there on the bike and might be missing a nut or bolt also and or other everything I have for the bike is in the pictures, selling as is although I don't see any major repairs that the bike will need, the carbs might need cleaning before the motor will run, needs a battery,i have a clear title, buyer will have to pay for shipping and locate there own shipper if one is needed I'm not sure there prices I have met with them several times usually uship.com,i can store the bike for one week after the auction ends, auction may end early because I might sell the bike before the auction ends, paypal or Walmart wire transfer accepted as payment if your not local,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding I'm located in Minnesota and the bike is in storage and the zip code is 55304,Im always looking to buy old and or unwanted Motorcycles and Snowmobiles,Thanks Carl.

MythBusters‘ Jamie Hynerman and Adam Savage are going to find out on the Emmy-nominated show’s fall season premiere, Sept.

Mon, 11 Nov 2013

Valentino Rossi has parted ways with longtime crew chief Jeremey Burgess, ending a partnership that extended across 14 years and three different manufacturers while capturing seven MotoGP and 500cc Grand Prix World Championships. Burgess will be replaced by Louis CK lookalike Silvano Galbusera, a veteran crew chief and mechanic whose most extensive experience comes from World Superbike and Supersport racing. As crew chief and/or technical director, Galbusera has worked with an impressive roster of riders including Troy Corser, Noriyuki Haga, Cal Crutchlow and Ben Spies.

Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Wed, 11 May 2011

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.
