For sale 1983 custom build Yamaha Virago Cafe Racer.
Beautiful bike, one of a kind. Lots of custom touches like: battery mounting, front forks bracket, seat and assembly, custom paint (marble candy apple metallic green) and matching LED night lights with ON/OFF switch. Bike runs and rides. It was converted to Cafe Racer about year ago. Tires are in good shape. Brand new battery, front fork seals, spark plugs. All electrical works: lights, turn signals, horn. It was lately seating in the garage but was taken for a ride around the block recently and everything is working fine. It will just need new oil and typical check up any bike needs after sitting. Please DO NOT bid if you are not planning to pay. Sold as is. No warranty. No returns. Local pick up only. Deposit of $300 through PayPal, balance in cash ONLY. Yamaha Offers VIP Package for US Grand Prix at Laguna Seca
Tue, 19 Jun 2012Yamaha and Mazda Raceway Laguna Seca are offering a special VIP ticket package for the 2012 U.S. Grand Prix for fans 0f the Japanese manufacturer. The Yamaha VIP package includes a three-day general admission ticket for the July 27-29 event to catch the MotoGP and AMA Pro Racing action.
Yamaha Motiv – A Car From The Tuning Fork Company
Wed, 20 Nov 2013According to reports from the Tokyo Motor Show Yamaha has announced preliminary plans to produce the Motiv, a lightweight, two-seater similar to a Smart car. The Motiv is apparently based on Gordon Murray Design‘s T25 and T27 concept cars and will apparently use Murray’s iStream assembly process. Sources say the vehicle is targeted for the European market and will be available in both electric as well as fossil fuel versions.
2014 Yamaha Crosser 150 BlueFlex Announced for Brazil
Mon, 10 Feb 2014Yamaha revealed a new ethanol-powered dual-sport for the Brazilian market called the XTZ150S Crosser BlueFlex. Designed specifically for Brazil, the Crosser 150 is Yamaha’s latest ethanol fuel model, sharing the same engine as the Fazer 150 BlueFlex. The engine is a 149cc single-cylinder engine with the second-generation version of Yamaha’s BlueFlex system, allowing it to run on gasoline or ethanol.
