Yamaha VMAX description

Here is a 1985 YAMAHA VMAX 1200cc project that has been sitting inside for a few years,i acquired this bike from a party a few years ago and the seller stated the bike needed work cant remember what work the bike needs probably tranny work these bikes are known for second gear problems and the motor might need work also, motor turns over when bike is pushed in gear, the carbs probably need cleaning before the bike will run, tank looks ok inside, tranny seems to shift, brakes work, throttle is free, the bike has been lowered or needs new shocks, bike does leak some oil I have had a pan sitting underneath it not sure where its leaking, clutch lever is sloppy master cylinder probably needs to be rebuilt or cleaned,i have a clear title, selling as is,might be a nut or bolt missing here and there and or other, buyer will have to pay for shipping and locate there own shipper if one is needed I'm not sure there prices usually uship.com,i can store the bike for one week after the auction ends no longer, auction may end early because I might sell the bike before the auction ends, paypal accepted as payment if your not local,Thanks for looking and good luck bidding the bike is located in Minnesota and my zip code is 55025,Im always looking to buy old and or unwanted Motorcycles and Snowmobiles Thanks Carl.

You want a nice little car, you do.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.

Yamaha Brazil Introduces Flex Fuel YS250 Fazer BlueFlex

Tue, 17 Jul 2012

Yamaha unveiled a new version of its YS250 Fazer for the Brazilian market that runs on gasoline, ethanol fuel, or a  mixture of both. The new YS 250 Fazer BlueFlex is Yamaha’s first flex-fuel model, but the manufacturer says it plans to add more BlueFlex models in the future. Brazil is the world’s second largest ethanol fuel producer and the most successful biofuel-based economy.

Snow riding and my new LC

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.
