Yamaha V Star 950 Custom Black Raven Beauty - No Reserve!! on 2040-motos
Yamaha V Star tech info
Yamaha V Star description
You are bidding on a beautiful 2009 Yamaha V Star 950 in
Black Raven. This is a one Owner bike
and I have meticulously taken care of it since owning it. It has had the 600 mile checkup performed by
Fatty’s Motorcycles in Fortville.
This V Star has almost every single chrome piece available
from Star Motorcycles and various after market companies, a new stiletto seat
and custom tank bag. See all the
pictures I have posted as the pictures tell all. I have provided
a list of those items below and their respective cost. I have also had Fatty’s Motorcycles remove and send out both front and rear stock wheels, rotors and belt pulley to
California where they were professionally
chromed, sent back and reinstalled professionally.
The bike currently has 1,266.9 miles on it and is barely broken
in. I have listed it at 1,400 miles as I may ride her before selling. The only reason for selling it is I
am moving up to a bigger cruiser for traveling the country. This V
Star is great around town, on highways as well as long rides on the weekends. I really hate to sell her but I just don’t
have the room for two motorcycles in my recently purchased downsized home.
I have also installed the largest rear tire you can put on the stock rear wheel when I had the wheels chromed. It is a 180/70/18 Brigestone . It has about 800 miles on it. Both front and rear tires have lots of tread and are good for many more miles.
I get compliments on this bike everywhere I ride. Many people commented on how awesome this V
Star looks while at Bikes on Meridian in downtown Indianapolis while Moto GP
was in town a few weeks ago. This bike
is in mint condition with no dents, dings or scratches.
There are cheaper V Star 950’s on EBay and other sites, but
none of them with all the accessories this bike has. The long list of accessories, chromed wheels
and new oversized rear tire are over $5,000.00 in cost alone. I paid $6,821.00 plus tax for this V Star a
few years ago. With the accessories added,
I have well over $11,000.00 invested in this bike.
With that said, I have started my auction at $7,500.00 with
NO RESERVE! The bike will be sold to the
highest bidder over $7,500.00. PLEASE DO
NOT BID UNLESS YOU HAVE THE FUNDS TO PAY FOR THIS BIKE!! DO NOT WASTE MY TIME WITH LACK OF FUNDS AND NO LOW BALL OFFERS!! I am a great EBayer
with 100% Positive Feedback. You can
count on a great transaction! Please ask
any and all questions before bidding and not after! This bike is for sale locally and I reserve the right to sell this bike to a local Buyer and end the auction at any time.
Also included are all the original parts that came off the
bike such as the original exhaust, seat, grips, etc. They are all in a Tupperware tub and ready to
ship along with the bike. Just remember
to tell your shipper you have an extra tub to go along with the bike. All costs for shipping are borne by the
Buyer. I will assist in meeting the
shipper to pick up the bike once it’s sold and all forms of payment have
cleared my bank.
I have the title in hand and will accept a $1,000.00 deposit
only via PayPal only. The balance of the
payment shall be made in USPS Cashier’s Checks or Cash only. I will not release the bike until all funds
have cleared my bank including USPS Cashier’s Checks. Too many forgery’s out there. I will give you the title immediately after
receiving the USPS Cashier’s Checks, but the bike will remain with me until
those Cashier’s Checks clear my bank (usually 5-6 business days). If
you bring cash for the full payment amount due, I will release the bike and
title together.
This is a 7 day auction and the highest bidder will win. The deposit is due immediately at auctions end or the bike will be relisted right away. The balance of the payment is due 7 days from auction end, no exceptions! I will also show the bike to anyone who can drive over and see the bike. However, no one rides the bike until all payments have cleared my bank. I’ll be glad to start it up and ride it around to show any potential Buyer how it sounds and looks on the road.

Snow riding and my new LC
Mon, 21 Jan 2013I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.
Motocross Pioneer Pierre Karsmakers Elected To AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame
Fri, 20 Jun 2014Pierre Karsmakers, one of the first European motocross champions to bring his expertise to America, has been elected to the AMA Motorcycle Hall Of Fame Class of 2014. A three-time motocross champion in his native Holland, Karsmakers came to the United States to gain wider exposure and attract the attention of the Japanese motorcycle makers. “All the Japanese (sponsorship) contracts were going to Belgian riders,” Karsmakers said.
