MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship competition The MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship title race is hotting up as Silverstone gears up to host the penultimate round of the Showdown this weekend (28/29/30 September) as the leading protagonists prepare to fight it out for the two crucial victories. After a dramatic event at Assen last weekend Josh Brookes stole the lead in the overall standings with just two points separating him and double champion Shane 'Shakey' Byrne. GSX-R600 and CBR250R the glass is half full

Suzuki’s GSX-R600 might not look that much different to the outgoing model but I suspect this bike could be very much a dark horse in 2011. I say this because two years ago I was definitely not building my hopes up en route to the K9 GSXR 1000 launch. The leaked pictures suggested the biggest change from the 2007 version would be some fresh graphics but I was so wrong.  As it turned out, I was greeted in Almeria with a brand new bike, built from the tarmac up and it proved to be more than a match in every department for the much hyped 2009 Yamaha R1.

Yamaha Majesty Scooter Returns for 2012 Lineup

Yamaha is bringing back the Majesty scooter as part of its 2012 lineup. The 395cc scooter was last offered as a 2010 model and it returns for 2012 with a new Charcoal color. Beyond that, the Majesty is unchanged, with its fuel-injected engine and V-belt CVT.
