Up for auction is my 2007 Yamaha Vstar 650 Silverado. Miles are a little over 13,000. New professional paint job last fall. Carbs just rebuilt and the bike completely serviced. New battery last fall. Comes with all the yamaha accessories shown. I have owned it for about 3 yrs. now and due to other projects I want to sell this motorcycle. (please check out my youtube video on the Yamaha). The tires are 75%. Nice ,great running, well balanced motorcycle. Great acceleration and is fun to drive. All the gauges, lights, electrical items work as intended. I have the Bike for sale locally so it may sell early. If you have 0 or poor feedback email before bidding. A deposit of $500.00 is due within 48hrs and balance to be paid by cashiers check or money order no later than 7 days after auctions end. It is a used vehicle sold as is with no warranty. Kenny Roberts Joins Inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo
Fri, 06 Sep 2013We’ve posted several articles over the past few months about the inaugural American International Motorcycle Expo (AIME) because the motorcycling public is invited to attend what looks like an industry/trade show. And we’re not the only ones excited to check it out. Kenny Roberts, perhaps the best-known American motorcycle racer of all time, has signed on to the AIME show as “American International Motorcycle Champion.” In this role, Roberts will serve as the proverbial face of AIMExpo, joining in the celebration of the inaugural show with the entire powersports marketplace – industry, trade, media and consumers.
46,061 Motorcycles Stolen in US in 2012
Mon, 25 Nov 2013An average of 126 motorcycles were stolen in the U.S. every day in 2012, according to a report released by the the National Insurance Crime Bureau. That’s from a total of 46,061 motorcycles reported stolen that year a 1.3% improvement from the 46,667 motorcycles reported stolen in 2011.
Lorenzo And Rossi Unveil Yamaha MotoGP 2014 Livery
Fri, 17 Jan 2014Yamaha’s official MotoGP outfit unveiled the team’s official 2014 livery in front of a packed audience in Jakarta, Indonesia. The team’s two factory riders, Jorge Lorenzo and Valentino Rossi, were on hand to proudly showcase their YZF-M1 motorcycles. As expected, blue, Yamaha’s factory color, plays a major role in the color scheme, but unlike last year where it was the dominant color, it is equally offset by contrasting white swaths on the upper fairing, fuel tank, and throughout the lower fairing.
