Three-Time World Champion Wayne Rainey Honored At Quail Motorcycle Gathering

Thu, 09 May 2013

Saturday, May 4 marked the 5th annual Quail Motorcycle Gathering in Carmel, California. Villopoto had a strong start, taking the holeshot and leading the first eight laps, just like the Kawasaki rider had done so often the last few seasons.

It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.
