  • Runs great, ride frequently, brakes, clutch, transmission all work well, lights, indicator lamps and turn signals work, hard to find model, seat sits low, electric start, easy to ride, great to learn on. I have owned for 1 year don't know previous history but it has a 1993 WV sticker on fork. Bike has damaged r rear turn signal (20.00 ebay) but it works fine, also has broken lower chain guard (30.00 ebay) I cannot find any other defects. Need $100 deposit within 48 hours of auction end or immediately on buy it now, balance paid on pick up within 7 days.  Motorcycle can be picked up in Davenport Iowa I will assist in shipping any way I can. Buyers with single digit feedback please contact me before bidding, new users are welcome but I would like to be contacted first.

Yamaha Motor Europe asked three of the world’s top builders to work their magic on the company’s flagship power cruiser, the VMax. America’s Roland Sands, Germany’s Marcus Walz and Ludovic Lazareth of France each set to work and create three different interpretations on the Yamaha VMax. These “Hyper Modified” custom Yamaha VMax models were unveiled at Yamaha’s stand at the EICMA show earlier this month, and we placed them at #4 on our Top 10 EICMA Show Bikes You May Have Missed list.

We ran a couple of stories last week - both, coincidentally, about new Kawasakis. One was the first peek of the new ZX10R – hot stuff you’d imagine – the other, the new W800 retro parallel twin. I suppose it shouldn’t have shocked us, which story was most popular in terms of hits but it really does mark a seismic shifts in British biking attitudes that the W800 story doubled the hits of the ZX10 piece.
