Yamaha TT description

This is a 1976 Yamaha TT500C PARTS OR PROJECT bike.  The engine turns over well, but is missing the right side cover.  The chain broke and broke the threaded hole that the oil line mounts to.  If that issue were fixed, it should be a runable engine.  It is missing the correct rear axle and spacers.  There are no electronics on it, or wiring.  The bike has the engine, frame, swingarm, front end, handlebars, tank, side covers, and seat.  This would make a good donor for a vintage flat tracker, or parts bike for another one.  This bike has been stored in-doors, so the engine has not been taking on water from sitting outside.

I can assist the shipper of your choice, but the arrangements and payment are up to the buyer.  Otherwise, local pickup only.

These “Hyper Modified” custom Yamaha VMax models were unveiled at Yamaha’s stand at the EICMA show earlier this month, and we placed them at #4 on our Top 10 EICMA Show Bikes You May Have Missed list.

Yamaha Reports Q1 2012 Results

Mon, 14 May 2012

In the quarter ended March 31, 2012, Yamaha sold 1.599 million motorcycles worldwide, down from 1.689 million motorcycles sold over the same quarter in 2011. Most of the decline was due to Yamaha’s performance in the Asian market.

Now, just days before the start of the 2014 season at the Grand Prix of Qatar, Yamaha has revealed its official 2014 MotoGP livery.
