Yamaha Road Star description

2012 YAMAHA ROAD STAR S, BUILT TO PERFORM AND CUSTOMIZE LIKE NOTHING ELSE The Road Star S is one of the most customized air-cooled V-twins in the business... and with good reason, too. It simply looks good, due mostly to the classic appeal of that hardtail-looking steel frame and all the classic-looking hardware that goes with it. The Road Star S gets even more chrome accents to the front end including chrome switchgear, front brake master cylinder, front fork and levers. Available from November 2011 (CA available from March 2012)

The Japanese oddity to naming teams

Wed, 28 Jul 2010

Whenever the calendar shifts to a major Japanese race, such as the Suzuka 8hr, one of the more amusing things to do is glance down the team sheet This years highlight for me has to be team Moto Bum, with other stand outs including aprilia D.D.BOYS, Team Etching Factory Yamaha and MITO MOTO & e'freaks Honda. Looking back through the ages some of the great Japanese team names have been Burning Blood Racing Team, Dog Fight Racing and Team Moto Space amongst others. Ryan Villopoto won his fifth race of the season while James Stewart took second place to just barely remain in contention for the 2014 AMA Supercross title. Meanwhile it was a bitter-sweet podium for third-place finisher KTM‘s Ryan Dungey who was officially mathematically eliminated from title contention. Racing in his home town of Seattle, Wash., Villopoto led every lap en route to an easy win, his fifth of the season.
