Yamaha Raider description

For sale is my 2009 Yamaha Raider. This bike has barely been ridden and pretty much flawless from the pictures. The upgrades I have done:

*Changed the tire from the factory Marathons to the Dunlop Elite 3
  120/70 R21 front
  240/40 R18 Rear
*Widened the rear factory rim from 7.5'' to 10'' to properly upgrade from the factory 210 to the 240
*Powdercoated the wheels and various parts as you can see in the pictures from silver to satin black
*Installed Vance and Hinse 2 into 1 full pipes ( baffles installed )
* Big Air - Air filter and air box
*Power Commander VI
*Custom Engine mapping at Dyno Solutions in Brookfield, Ct
*Drag Specialties High Rise Pull Back Bars, grips and mirror ( The other mirror is included in auction
*Custom rolled front fender
*LED rear break light and signal integration
*Custom Paint
As you can see in the pictures, their is custom paint on every body part. The graphics are inspired by the factory decals but, are actually air brushed, tying into a Sin City theme on the tank. The rear and front fender have personalized paint but, the artist I used quote me $500.00 to perform a " restoration" which is to take the personalization off and feather in the base artwork to remove the writing. Or you cold just purchase stock fenders which I find on ebay for about the same price.

This bike runs amazing and is very fast for a cruiser. I took it to the track after the dyno tune and ran a 12.07 in the 1/4. Very fun to ride.

I have the dyno sheet and fiberglass tank bezel which is custom painted to match the tank. Everything is included in the action.

I'll be  happy to answer any questions you have. Thanks!

Jay

Yamaha Pro Am madness, the best one make championship ever?

Sat, 18 Dec 2010

I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. Twenty four riders (twelve established and twelve rookies) were chosen by a panel of experts then given a completely free season of racing with a very generous prize fund thrown in.

Batman’s Original Batcycle

Thu, 11 Dec 2008

Oh, that Batman and his toys, those marvelous toys. Millionaire Bruce Wayne’s alter ego has always had a penchant for accessories. While normally reserved for freeing him and boy wonder from intellectually challenged villains, he has also had his fair share of tricked-out transportation over the years.

Official 2014 MotoGP Entry List Released

Fri, 28 Feb 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) released the official entry list for the 2014 MotoGP Championship including 23 riders representing 13 teams. The final entry list also lists each rider’s status as either a Open or Factory class rider. The eight Factory riders are allowed to use their teams’ own proprietary ECU software but are otherwise limited by a freeze on engine development, a limit of five engines for the whole season and just 5.3 gallons of fuel per race.
