Up for auction is my 1975 Yamaha RD350 Parts Bike. This bike Does have a clear Indiana Title that is in previous owners name. As you can see the engine and all associated components are missing. No Engine, wiring, handlebar switches or headlight. What you see is what you get. No other parts are included in this auction. This bike only had 2900 miles on it. The tires appear to be the original Dunlaps and are actually in decent condition. The wheels look excellent, spokes are nice and so are the chrome on the rims. The chrome on this bike is really nice, with the exception of the rear grab bar, which will most likely come off with some effort. Body work is intact but obviousy painted poorly. Seat is excellent, latch needs adjusted. If you need a good titled frame then here is your chance. Frame is nice and has no repairs or modifications. Thu, 02 May 2013The economic downturn hit the motorcycle world particularly hard, as many factory-backed road racing efforts closed shop. The decision, while unfortunate, isn’t hard to understand, as racing at the highest levels isn’t cheap, and a factory involvement means added pressure to succeed, which ultimately means spending more money to do so. Through it all, however, Yamaha has remained involved with the sport, fielding factory teams and sponsoring various riding schools and even racetracks.
Yamaha Majesty Scooter Returns for 2012 Lineup
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Yamaha is bringing back the Majesty scooter as part of its 2012 lineup. The 395cc scooter was last offered as a 2010 model and it returns for 2012 with a new Charcoal color. Beyond that, the Majesty is unchanged, with its fuel-injected engine and V-belt CVT.
2014 AMA Supercross – Indianapolis Results
Mon, 03 Mar 2014Ryan Dungey captured his first win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season in a wild main event that saw two of the top title contenders crashing on the starting straight at Indianapolis‘ Lucas Oil Stadium. Smartop MotoConcepts Suzuki rider Mike Alessi took the holeshot for the second race in a row, but the big news was incoming points leader Ryan Villopoto and Ken Roczen going down before the first turn. Roczen trailed Villopoto by nine points going into the Indianapolis round, but the KTM rookie’s hopes of overtaking the reigning champion took a blow when he went down on the straight, knocking Villopoto off in the process.
