I have for sale my fully restored 1972 Yamaha R5 for sale. This is a fairly rare motorcycle, made for three years. This is the precursor to the Yamaha RD350. This is a very unique 350cc two stroke, and is quite fun to ride.
Specifics: • Frame off rebuild • Frame repaint • All body panels/tank repainted blue (non-original, but very nice) • All original badging • All chrome fully polished including wheels • Forks/drum brakes polished as well • New battery • New foam, and seat cover with passenger strap • New tires with about 150 miles • New wheel bearings • New chain • NOS rear sprocket • Fully rebuilt carbs • Engine was disassembled and all crank seals were replaced. Internals were in great shape • New plugs • New coils from HVC cycle There may be a few specifics I'm forgetting at this point; however, this bike has been fully gone through and works great. I found this in a pile of boxes a little over a year ago, and it was my full intention to enjoy restoring this beauty, and putting it up for sale - and my fiance is making sure I stick to the original plan. I picked up these shoes as I thought they’d double as decent riding gear for the Yamaha XVS650 and Ducati Diavel we had lined up but they also looked perfect for wearing with jeans when we’d dumped the bike and were heading out to explore the sights. They don’t feature any ‘real’ armour but they are made from a tough yet flexible canvas and they feature additional protection around the ankle.
2014 AMA Supercross – Toronto Results
Mon, 24 Mar 2014James Stewart captured his series-leading fourth AMA Supercross 450 class win of the season, giving him sole possession of second place on the overall career wins list ahead of Ricky Carmichael and behind Jeremy McGrath. The win also helped Stewart gain some ground on points leader Ryan Villopoto who suffered from a bout of food poisoning. Villopoto was examined at a Toronto hospital and released in time for the opening ceremonies.
