Yamaha Other description

I currently have in my possession 1 of Japan's most exquisite creations. Due to unforeseen circumstances, it is with a heavy heart that I must now sell 1 of my most prized possessions. Should you be the purchaser of this vehicle, please bear in mind that you will instantly become the most desirable man among women on the planet. You will lose all your friends due to their immense jealousy. You will find, however, that your fuel consumption will drop considerably, as this rotary inducted 80cc savage of a bike will get about 75 MILES-PER-GALLON. This is not a bike for the weak of heart, but for the gallant and noble men of today's two-wheeled society. Will come with bill of sale only.

Max Biaggi loses the plot . . and very nearly his teeth !

Tue, 29 Mar 2011

I’ve just got back from Donington Park and the second round of the World Superbike championship. The racing was exciting, going off without a hitch, and the weather was unseasonably kind, but the meeting will be remembered by those in the fairly close knit WSB paddock for reasons other than the temperature or the race results. It’ll be remembered by most, especially those who witnessed it, as the meeting where Max Biaggi finally lost his already feeble grip on reality.

In a year that saw Yamaha riders James Stewart, Valentino Rossi, and Ben Spies capture the perfect “trifecta” of World Championships, perhaps one of the most memorable moments for race fans around the world, was “King” Kenny Roberts’ return ride at the infamous Indy Mile in late August. As a year end surprise, Yamaha is pleased to offer race fans around the world a video of this monumental occasion. The video features both archival footage from Kenny’s victory in 1975 as well as the events surrounding this recent monumental motorcycling event.

Snow riding and my new LC

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

I reckon the only thing to do when the snow comes is to get on a bike and my weapon of choice is usually a Yamaha TTR 125. I’ve had TTRs in the garage now for around eight years after Raceways Yamaha in Fleetwood put some on offer for just £900 and apart from a few broken spokes and worn out gearbox sprockets they have been indestructible. One of the two has an electric start and incredibly starts as easily as the day I took delivery.
