TWINS!!!! Here we have twin 1981 yamaha chappy's. Yes, you will be bidding on both scoots! These scooters are a fresh barn find. I have titles and keys for both. One title is the original document the other is a New Jersey title. These scooters appear to be in pretty decent shape for being over 30 years old. I have not tried to get them going and I am not going to. One of them is seized from sitting and the other spins freely. I was told by the original owner that they both ran when they where put away some years ago. They have been sitting in a garage for over 15years. One of them has 950miles the other has just broken 500miles. I had planned on fixxing them and having a set of the coolest run abouts around. Recall for 2011 Yamaha FJR1300
Mon, 11 Jul 2011Yamaha is initiating a recall campaign the 2011 FJR1300, just a week after a separate recall for the 2006-2009 versions of the sport touring motorcycle. Like the earlier campaign, the recall for the 2011 Yamaha FJR1300 is for an electrical issue, this time for the brake lights. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, brake light on affected units may not illuminate when the front brake lever is applied because the activating mechanism in the brake switch can bind.
