Yamaha Other description

For Sale is a 2009 Yamaha Zuma 125. It hardly has been ridden. I simply didn't use it like I thought I would when I purchased it. I bought this scooter in September 2010 brand new. I purchased it at Cycle World in Houma. It has been serviced at every suggested time, and just got a new inspection sticker. Everything on the bike looks and works as if it were brand new. The bike has 2,436 mis on it! It gets around 75-80 miles-per-gallon, and costs about $5 to fill up which lasts 2 weeks if ridden every day! It can reach speeds of 55-60, something that's great to be able to get around town, but isn't as dangerous as a motorcycle. It is great for getting those parking spots closer to a building, especially to school for those of you attending Nicholls or surrounding universities like me. It is a perfect gift for someone for Christmas!!!I am asking $2,400 but am willing to negotiate! Thanks and please email me for any additional photos or facts of the scooter

Yamaha Pro Am madness, the best one make championship ever?

Sat, 18 Dec 2010

I’m biased of course, but the best one make road race championship has to be the Yamaha RD 350LC Pro Am series. Back in the days when manufacturers had spare cash (1980 to be precise), Mitsui Yamaha organised this televised championship at major British race meetings to promote the recently launched, and now iconic, Yamaha RD350LC. Twenty four riders (twelve established and twelve rookies) were chosen by a panel of experts then given a completely free season of racing with a very generous prize fund thrown in.

Top Five Global Motorcycle Companies Ranked

- Honda Motor Company Limited - Yamaha Motor Company Limited - Hero MotoCorp Limited - Bajaj Auto Limited - Harley–Davidson Incorporation According to Research And Markets, who bill themselves as “The World’s Largest Market Research Store,” these are the top five companies of the global motorcycle industry, with data collected from 2006 – 2011. The study itself is several chapters deep and must be purchased (you can do so at the link above), but in short, Research And Markets have compiled a study observing the evolving global motorcycle industry, its competitive landscape, and the corporate and marketing strategies adopted by the motorcycle companies as some of the factors to have remarkably impacted the global motorcycle industry dynamics. Developing regions, such as Asia and Latin America, which perceive two-wheelers as a basic mode of transportation, are expected to remain the most promising markets for scooters, light motorcycles, and mopeds.

$8,000 Custom ATV up for Grabs at ATV.com

Thu, 02 Jul 2009

Our sister site, ATV.com, is ready to give away the Yamaha Raptor ATV they’ve been customizing over the last few weeks. They took a base Yamaha Raptor 250 valued at $4,499.00 and modified it into an $8,000 beast!  Why they just don’t keep it in the office to use for coffee runs is beyond me. They’ve slapped on new air filters, mufflers, new alloy wheels, new tires, front bumper and grab bar, skid plates, nerf bars, new grips, new seat cover, new plastics, and more!
