Has after market exhaust, cross-plane engine with the built in mode selection for different throttle mappings. A mode rocks! select normal or B for a less aggressive throttle. Very cool feature. Less than 2300mis. $1000 after-market exhaust, integrated rear turn single light $150, flush-mount front signals, plate illumination light, custom brake fluid reservoir Yamaha cover, and smoked windscreen. Selling due to other obligations. Has scuff near seat where trickle charger plugin melted causing a mark. Nothing serious and is reflected in the price. Mileage will increase as I ride year-round. Cyril Despres Signs with Yamaha

Five-time Dakar Rally winner Cyril Despres has signed on with Yamaha Motor France to race on the Yamaha YZ450F. Despres won the Dakar Rally in 2005, 2007, 2010, 2012 and 2013 with KTM but parted ways with the Austrian manufacturer in March. For 2014, Despres is trading in KTM Orange for Yamaha Blue, riding with support rider and fellow Frenchman Michael Metge.

Yoshimura Suzuki‘s James Stewart captured his third win of the 2014 AMA Supercross season and 48th 450 class victory of his career, tying him with Ricky Carmichael for second on the all-time win list behind Jeremy McGrath‘s 72. Racing before a crowd of 50,856 fans at Ford Field in Detroit, Stewart took the lead from holeshot-taker Cole Seely shortly before the end of the second lap and led the rest of the 20-lap race for the win. Stewart led by as much as 7.1 second but eased off at the end, crossing the finish less than two seconds ahead of Kawasaki‘s Ryan Villopoto.
