1974 Yamaha Other on 2040-motos
Yamaha Other tech info
Yamaha Other description
This little Yamaha runs great, transmission works great and so does the clutch. It is a one owner and she wants to sell it. As you can see from the photo's, it has been in storage most of it's life. Unfortunately her basement wasn't bone dry and the bikes cosmetics have suffered. So, it will either be a sound starting place for a restoration or a daily rider. It also needs tires. Chain and sprockets are fine. The seat is like new because she bought it recently. The gas tank has been coated on the inside, and repainted (doesn't match the other painted parts). New battery. The fork tubes are not rusty where the seals travel. Buyer responsible for pick up or shipping.

Mon, 24 Mar 2014The opening round of the 2014 MotoGP season is complete, and if the Grand Prix of Qatar is any indication, it looks like it’ll be an interesting season. If you haven’t yet, read up on the recap for the Qatar MotoGP race for the details on what transpired at Losail International Circuit in Doha. Here then are some of the (mostly spoiler-free) photographs from the Grand Prix of Qatar, including images from the MotoGP, Moto2 and Moto3 classes.
Yamaha Champions Riding School Garage Sale This Weekend
Tue, 03 Dec 2013As a former student, and later instructor, at the Yamaha Champions Riding School, it pained me to learn that the program has ceased operation. However, the school’s loss could be your gain, as Miller Motorsports Park will be holding a garage sale this weekend to move many of the assets from the school — yes, that includes motorcycles. The sale will be held this Saturday, December 7, in Team Garage 1004 at Miller Motorsports Park.
Yamaha Unveils 2012 MotoGP Livery – Massive Gallery and Video
Thu, 22 Mar 2012Yamaha has pulled the covers off the 2012 edition of its YZR-M1, the machines which racers Jorge Lorenzo and Ben Spies will ride to compete in the 2012 MotoGP World Championship. While last year’s M1 was predominantly blue, the new 1000cc version of the M1 sports more white paint with wide bands of Yamaha blue on the front fairing and along the side, flowing along the line of the seat. Like most MotoGP squads, Yamaha doesn’t want to be too specific about its MotoGP bike’s potential, estimating the power output from the crossplane crankshaft engine at over 240 hp.
