1972 Yamaha RT2 MX360 that had a restoration about 10 years ago. Still in very good condition. Bike runs and rides great! Shouldered rims appear to be straight, but have the typical nicks on the edges. Small tear in left front of seat cover. Shocks feel good. Forks are a little soft. Pipe has been welded at the front joint and maybe near the rear seam. Handlebars and throttle cable are not original. Front number plate has a small crack and chip. Paint and decals are in good condition. Staining near fill neck on tank and a few small dings. Rear fender has been repaired. Buyer to pick-up. We can help with delivery options. This news comes as the series has been quiet about TV coverage for this season.

On the 11th January 1962, Steve Hislop was born in Hawick, Scotland. Today would have been his 50th birthday, but he was tragically killed in a helicopter accident in 2003. Hizzy was a genius on a motorbike and when he was happy with everything around him, he was amongst the best in the world.

Small-Displacement Class Considered for 2015 AMA Pro Racing Season

More and more manufacturers are entering the small-displacement sportbike market and AMA Pro Racing has taken notice, opening the possibility of adding a new racing class representing the growing segment. With plans to consolidate the Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes and the Vance & Hines Harley-Davidson series signed through 2015, a spot will open up on race weekends for another racing class to support the premier Superbike Championship. The logical choice is to introduce a new small-displacement class.
