Yamaha Other description

1967 ym1 305, 13000 miles, clean ind. title. nice restoration project or rider, i bought this with the idea to restore it because it has always been owned by indy 500 people since new, Al freedman, AJ Watson the roadster builder, and Anita Millican, first female pit crew member over the wall. probably doesnt make it worth more but i have documentaion and i had aj sign the bottom of the seat. just thought it was cool since im from indy. back to the bike, missing the tank badges, runs but leaks at petcock and carbs need gone thru, i have ridden bike i even plated this one with hopes of riding but i have a garage full of old bikes and cant seem to get caught up on them. all lights work, shfts good, tires fair to good, chrome pitting on mufflers. i have several nos yamaha parts, headlight rim, taillight, decals for side cover, brake and clutch lever. EICMA 2013: 2014 Yamaha MT-07 And MT-09 Street Rally

Mon, 04 Nov 2013

Yamaha teased us with the “Rise Up Your Darkness” campaign, first introducing the FZ-09 (called the MT-09 in Europe) and its three-cylinder engine packaged in a naked frame. Now Yamaha has introduced the next motorcycle in the Darkness collection, the MT-07, effectively the MT/FZ-09′s little brother. Designed to “bring fun, affordability and enjoyment back to the street,” the MT-07 is powered by a brand new, 689cc parallel-Twin with 270-degree crank incorporating Yamaha’s “crossplane philosophy” of developing linear torque for smoother power application.

With an audience of 49,236 watching at Chase Field, it was the field that had to chase Dungey during the main event. Dungey jumped out in front at the first corner followed by JGRMX Yamaha‘s Davi Millsaps and defending AMA Supercross Champion Ryan Villopoto of Kawasaki.

Yamaha Trademarks Design for Three-Cylinder Sport-Tourer

Mon, 11 Aug 2014

Yamaha has registered a trademark for the design of a sport-touring model based on the FZ-09. Filed with European Union’s Office for Harminization in the Internal Market, the trademarked design reveals a brand new model sharing the same frame and engine as the FZ-09 (known in Europe as the MT-09.) Discuss this at our Yamaha FZ-09 Forum. The new model will likely be compete against motorcycles such as the Suzuki V-Strom 1000 and a rumored S1000RR-based model from BMW.
