Yamaha LT2 tech info
Yamaha LT2 description
Up for sale is a thoroughly and methodically refurbished 1972 Yamaha LT2 with 2992 miles. Bike was completely disassembled and each part inspected, cleaned, polished and/or painted. - Oil tank and gas tank stripped, primed, repainted with three coats one-stage color coat and new decals.
- Headlights, turn signals, and brake lights all working. New rear turn signal lenses. Could not get the horn to work...not sure why.
- Engine work included new plugs, new clutch plates, right crankcase gasket, new exhaust gasket, fresh crankcase oil. Engine cylinder jug painted with black hi-temp engine paint. Side covers painted with hi-temp silver engine paint.
- Autolube system working well. Original tank paint in excellent condition. A couple of small chips on right side tank decal. No dents or dings on tank.
- Wheel bearings and brake shoes inspected and in good condition.
- No rips or tears in seat upholstery
- Original Mikuni carb overhauled.
- New gas and oil lines
- New fork seals
