Own a piece of history. This is a rare vintage M/C. From Motorcyclist - "We weren't sure what to make of the GTS1000 when it materialized back in '93. Depending upon whom you asked, it was either an arcane technical footnote or a new chapter in motorcycle chassis design. James Parker's pioneering parallel-arm RADD front end was clearly the star of this show, but Yamaha didn't stop there. Tuned for midrange thrust rather than top end, the 20-valve FZR-derived four arrived with Nippon Denso EFI and a three-way catalytic converter upstream of the single muffler-both firsts for a Yamaha four-stroke. And the package was nicely sorted right out of the box." One owner, low mileage, Halogen Head Light, Aeroflow Windshield, Tank Bra, Corbin Seat, Carbon Fiber Rear Fender, Polished Rims, Yoshimura Racing Muffler, Maintained by Lee's Cycle. 2015 Yamaha FZ-07 Announced for Canada
Tue, 18 Mar 2014Yamaha announced it would import the MT-07 to Canada as the 2015 FZ-07. Until now, the twin-cylinder roadster had only been announced for Europe as the MT-07; there is no word the FZ-07 will be offered in the U.S., but the Canadian announcement is a good sign it may be coming soon. Revealed at EICMA, the FZ-07 slots in under the three-cylinder FZ-09 (known as the MT-09 outside of the North America) with a newly-developed liquid-cooled 689cc parallel-Twin engine.
Greg Tracy to Ride Amarok P1A Electric Sportbike for Pikes Peak International Hill Climb
Thu, 11 Apr 2013Canada’s Amarok Racing has secured quite a coup in signing six-time Pikes Peak International Hill Climb winner Greg Tracy to ride its P1A electric superbike for the 2013 edition of the event. Tracy has six class victories in the Pikes Peak International Hill Climb, winning in 1996, 1999, 2006, 2008, 2009 and 2010. His victories have come riding motorcycles from several manufacturers: Honda, Yamaha, BMW and, more recently, Ducati.
