Yamaha FZ description

2012 Yamaha FZ8, FZ8 - The motorcycle world is becoming more highly specialized by the day. Special niche models are popping up everywhere. Unfortunately, most of us can only afford one bike. The FZ8 is a brilliant all-rounder that brings fun, excitement and adrenalin to each and every ride. It is ready to slice its way through the twisties, cruise the backroads in comfort and style or make that daily commute a bunch more enjoyable. Attitude, power, handling and style, the FZ8 is the ultimate everyday sport bike.

Day 11 Dakar 2014: Coma Wins, Extends Overall Lead

Thu, 16 Jan 2014

Day 11 marked the longest stage to date of the Dakar Rally, as the competitors tackled the 605km (376 miles) special stage, covering a variety of terrain, hard ground, mountains, plus 120km (75 miles) of sand and dunes in the Copiapo area. Despite this, and a fall at the beginning of the stage, Marc Coma again demonstrated his status as boss of the Dakar 2014, by picking up his third victory of the year, further reinforcing his position at the top of the general standings. Five-time Dakar winner Cyril Depres opened the piste for 400km before dropping slightly to finish just 02:31 behind Marc Coma in first.

Used: Alpinestars Joey Canvas shoes review

Wed, 11 Sep 2013

The brief I gave to my girlfriend before packing for our little California road-trip was simple: “No hair straighteners, no high-heels and no hand bags!” So, I had to honour the whole ‘packing light’ thing too ...or risk a week of abuse. I picked up these shoes as I thought they’d double as decent riding gear for the Yamaha XVS650 and Ducati Diavel we had lined up but they also looked perfect for wearing with jeans when we’d dumped the bike and were heading out to explore the sights. They don’t feature any ‘real’ armour but they are made from a tough yet flexible canvas and they feature additional protection around the ankle.
