'Embraceable' is a modern jazz project of Vincent Chandler's original music. The quartet rhythm section features Rick Roe or Ian Finkelstein on piano, Robert Hurst -bass, and Nate Winn-Drums. You will also hear the vocals of his wife, Kimwana Doner-Chandler, the scat singing of Vincent Chandler and the University of Michigan Septet. 'Embraceable' is Vincent's first project as a bandleader. He has composed and performed original music for more than twenty years, but only the Metro-Detroit area has heard it. Now he would like to share it with the rest of the world. Vincent chose the title, 'Embraceable' to express his desire to be embraced by his peers and by the world wide jazz audience.
