VERY RARE 1956 BLACK LABEL PROMO COPY

"SAMPLE ALBUM FOR RADIO AND TV PROGRAM USE"

JACKET HAS SOME RUBBING AND WEAR, LIGHT SOILING, ABOUT 2 INCH SPLIT SEAMS AT OPENING, EDGES RUBBED AND WORN.

THE VINYL DISPLAYS HIGH LUSTER WITH VISIBLE SUPERFICIAL MARKS - MORE ON SIDE 1 (last few songs especially) THAN 2.

CONSERVATIVELY GRADED  VG/VG using Goldmine Standard:

"VERY GOOD or VG: this record is a record that is good enough. They are not really going to look very good,. There will almost always be some surface noise when they are played. The Dynamics should still be excellent, overpowering the surface noise. A VG record will appear to have been played but still have some luster. VG covers will look worn, used. There may be some seam splitting . There will be some ring wear, where the ink has begun to wear off ."

I just played it through - there are some pops and crackles, but certainly not throughout. Record is entirely listenable. Def solid VG. Some parts are a bit hissier/noisier than others. Great album. Hard to find promo! Cliff Gallup is a master. And we all know Gene just totally rocks!
