This bike has two large saddlebags that offer weatherproof storage, a roomy trunk and two convenient front storage compartments within easy reach of the pilot. The Cross Country Tour also has the exclusive Victory Comfort Control System: Adjustable upper and lower air controls that give the pilot maximum control of the airflow from the front end of the bike. The air controls can be closed for full protection in cold or rain, and opened for direct cooling airflow to the riders when it???s warm. Mounted at the base of the fairing, these controls pivot to provide cooling airflow or to block air from reaching the riders.??? Lower Air Controls open and close the front of the hard lowers to let a rider control the volume of airflow to the legs. Opened, they let cooling airflow reach riders??? legs. Closed, they block airflow and rain to keep riders??? legs warm and dry.??? Celebrating 15 years of American-made production, Victory Motorcycles unveiled its 2014 lineup today, featuring two new 8-Ball baggers, a $1000 price cut on the High-Ball, a Ness Cross Country and the new Factory Custom paint program. First up, Victory has given its Cross Country and Cross Roads the stripped down 8-Ball treatment – and a stripped down price tag to match. Exposed to their bare bagger bones and painted black, the Cross Country is accessory-free but for its fairing and audio system, while the Cross Roads ditches its Lexan windshield.

After a month off, the Rapid Solicitors Ducati 848 Challenge took to the air for the second of its fly-away rounds this season; this time to the historic Monza circuit. Scene of so many memorable races, a quick glance at the circuit map surely raised the expectation just a little higher than normal as the riders faced the prospect of tackling one of Europe's fastest circuits. Free practice on Saturday afternoon was fought out in over 31 degree sunshine as the riders took advantage of the three sessions available to them to learn the circuit.
