Victory Cross Country description

Check out this 2012 Victory Cross Country with the new Motor Trike Vortex kit! Here is the options we added to make this trike 1 of a kind: We have custom painted the entire trike "Oh So Orange" 18" Custom wheels with low profile tires The tour pack gives this trike a more complete look and a more comfortable ride for the passenger! This trike does have an 8* rake for your driving comfort and safety! We took a low mileage 106 cubic inch Victory and put this brand new kit on. The kit comes with a three year/60,000mis warranty! We have financing available! Pickup is recommended, but delivery arrangements can be made! If you already have a Victory and want to trike it...we can do that too! Give us a call at 479-754-XXXX and we will be happy to help! Motor Trike offers an Independent Rear Suspension on many of their conversions. This makes for a terrific ride by allowing each wheel on the same axle to move independently of each other. This alone creates a smooth ride. However, Motor Trike did not stop there. 1st, they designed and patented an air ride suspension that offers over 4ins of wheel travel. Then, they lowered the spring rate to create a more comfortable ride with plenty of 'give' when traveling over bumpy terrain, with an extra passenger, heavy cargo, or pulling a trailer. Because of the fingertip adjustable air ride suspension and softened spring rate, optimum ride quality is reached. Motor Trike also uses rubber bushings on all suspension components as well as on the differentials to reduce the noise, vibration, and harshness that can be bothersome to riders. Also the roll center height has been lowered ensuring both tires are kept in contact with the road at all times which helps to prevent rolling. And finally, Motor Trike uses a calibrated sway bar to ensure comfortable and secure cornering. With all of these preventative measures in place, the inconsistencies in the road are completely absorbed creating an effortless ride. INDEPENDENT REAR SUSPENSION All Motor Trike conversions include a patented air ride suspension, rear tires and wheels, interior trunk light, and a 3-year/60,zero mile warranty. Polaris Reports Q1 2013 Results

Tue, 23 Apr 2013

Polaris Industries reported a 26% increase in net income over the first quarter of 2013, but a 2.9% decline in on-road vehicle sales (comprised almost entirely of Victory and Indian Motorcycles). The company’s first quarter filings report a net income of $75.5 million, up from the $60.1 million reported over the same period in 2012. Much of the increase can be attributed to a 217% increase in net sales from its snowmobile division, spurred in large part by increase in snowfall across many regions of North America.

848 Challenge: Official race report, Snetterton 300

Mon, 28 May 2012

Mike Edwards put a disappointing start to the season behind him with a win and a second place at Round Three of the Ducati 848 Challenge at the Snetterton BSB weekend. With a gritty ride to victory in Race One and a late charge to third in Race Two, Edwards (Ohlins @ P&H Motorcycles) managed to keep his championship hopes alive following a run of uncharacteristic crashes at the last two rounds.   Edwards said before Race One that he was going for a “win it or bin it” attitude this weekend as he desperately needed to make up the points he missed out on at Assen.

During warm-up for last weekend’s Silverstone MotoGP race, Repsol Honda rider Marc Marquez crashed between turns seven and eight, losing the front while on the brakes. The fall caused the MotoGP rookie’s shoulder to pop out of its socket, and Alpinestars has released the data from Marquez’ Tech-Air-equipped suit for us to further examine. Looking at the graph below, you’ll see the impact was focused on Marquez’ left shoulder.
