It's jet black and the Touring has all the extra storage and goodies on it. It has the 106ci Vtwin and 6 speed as well as ABS brakes!! Polaris Industries has initiated a recall campaign for the 2011 Victory Cross Country due to a defect in the handlebar riser and clamp assembly. According to documents filed with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, some handlebar clamps and risers may have been machined to deep by the part supplier. As a result, the handlebars may slip within the clamps, potentially causing a rider to lose control.

This is a small sample of the participants in Monday’s annual Legends Ride from Deadwood to Sturgis. Hundreds of bikes thundered through the Black Hills toward Sturgis on Monday afternoon, creating a cacophony not heard in these parts since, well, last year. The sixth annual Legends Ride draws thousands of riders, spectators and celebrities to the historic city of Deadwood, South Dakota each year on a charitable pilgrimage to the Buffalo Chip Campground, and organizers said Monday’s edition was likely the largest ever.

Max Biaggi strengthened his hold on the 2012 World Superbike Championship lead with a pair of wins at Italy’s Misano circuit. The Aprilia rider out-battled the Althea Ducati duo of Carlos Checa and Davide Giugliano to win Race One before taking a relatively easier Race Two victory. Before the races, WSBK riders lined up on the starting grid to hold a banner expressing their support for the Emilia region in northern Italy which has been suffering from earthquakes and continuing aftershocks since late May.
