Ural 1977 description

This 1977 Russian Ural motorcycle with sidecar comes complete with motor and transmission apart and out of the frame. 

This bike was together and running before it was taken in for restoration. The shop pulled the motor and trans to fix the reverse gear then took it apart for paint. After work was started the owner lost interest in the project.

This bike will be sold with No Reserve to the highest bidder. This one will go for cheap so take a look!

Urals Parade Through Sochi Olympic Ceremony

With the start of the Sochi winter olympics upon us, reports have gone rampant about the terrible conditions some athletes and media have experienced so far. Lost in all the hoopla is the participation of 20 red Urals in the Olympics opening ceremony. A spectacular procession of the legendary sidecar motorcycles across the ice of the Fisht stadium symbolized one of the achievements in Russia’s post-WWII reconstruction history and gave Ural a moment of recognition in front of an international audience.

Ural Baikal - a new limited bike with a sidecar

The Russian motorcycle manufacturer presented a special version of the motorcycle with a "sidecar", dedicated to the lake and the traveler. The Irbit manufacturer will release only 45 copies of the Baikal Limited Edition. Baikal was created on the basis of a motorcycle with a sidecar drive, has a "spare wheel", a trunk, protective arches, an additional searchlight and a "side car" windshield.

Ural Posts Third Consecutive Year of Growth

According to a Ural announcement the Russian sidecar manufacturer posted a third year of consecutive sales growth. Ural claims that the two previous years, 2010 and 2011 put the company in a position to enjoy a record year in 2012 of 30+% growth, more than previous record set in 2006. “We fell really hard in 2009, maybe harder than others in the industry.
