Triumph Trident description

1975 Triumph Trident , 1975 Trident T160. The T160 was the last of the tridents with only 7211 built. It is even more rare with the large fuel tank. The bike is cosmetically all original. The motor was recently gone through by a local shop. It currently has a three into one exhaust, Mikuni carbs, and a Tri spark digital ignition for rideability. 2013 Triumph Trophy Recalled for Incorrect Tire Label

The 2013 Triumph Trophy is being recalled because a NHTSA label listing the sport-tourer’s tire data has the wrong information. According to documents released by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, the tire label on some Triumph Trophy models list erroneous tire and laden weight information. The labels are mandated by NHTSA and can be found affixed to the left side of the main frame headstock on the Trophy.

Are Motorcycles Safer With Antilock Brakes?

A new report says riders with ABS-equipped bikes can dramatically reduce the chance of a fatal accident. The study compared fatality rates among riders on bikes that have antilock brakes, and it found that death rates were 38% lower on motorcycles equipped with the optional ABS systems compared to non-ABS bikes. In 2005-2006, the fatal crashes per 10,000 registered motorcycles without antilock brakes was 6.6.
