2010 1600cc SE A1 special edition Thunderbird. Windscreen. heel/toe, shifter, dual long haul seat, ABS brakes, sissy bar, luggage rack, new leather saddlebags, 16k miles, all services have done, has nearly new Michelin Commander 2 tires, runs great on regular fuel, does not require high test. No mechanical issues and no damage of any kind. Very good condition. Includes complete manual and GPS locator for lower insurance cost and security. Also includes a Pulse Tech 12v desulfating charger with the optional 25-foot power cord, and a new bike cover.. Selling due to medical reasons. 50th Anniversary Of The Great Escape To Be Celebrated With Electric Motorcycle
Wed, 26 Jun 2013July 4th marks the 50th anniversary of the iconic Steve McQueen film, “The Great Escape,” and to commemorate the golden anniversary of McQueen’s escape attempt from German forces during WWII, McQueen Motorcycle will unveil a special electric motorcycle, the Xscape. The Xscape is scheduled to be McQueen Motorcycle’s first production motorcycle, with cues to incorporate today’s technology and integrate “the history and design of tradition.” Details are scarce at this point, but considering McQueen rode a Triumph TR6 Trophy in the scene, it would be reasonable to expect similar styling. In fact, looking closely at the photo above will reveal wire wheels, most likely a nod to the vintage Triumph.
“The Meet” Vintage Motorcycle Show This Saturday

While festivities will begin on Friday evening, America’s Car Museum (ACM) will host the third annual Vintage Motorcycle Festival on Saturday from 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Organizers expect 450 vintage motorcycles and scooters from all over the nation to attend.
US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
