Triumph Sprint tech info
Triumph Sprint description
Great condition motorcycle, fast bike. I have always been a Honda guy (and still like Honda) but fell in love with the smooth strong power of the 3 cylinder Triumph. It pulls strong at low rpm and revs up nicely with a great power band throughout. This is not a beginner bike. This bike is very fast and handles great. The Sprint RS is a half-fairing sport bike, similar to the Ducati Supersport 1000 DS.
I take good care of my stuff, regular oil changes, oil the chain and keep up with all the routine maintenance. This is a sport bike that is very comfortable. It has a custom seat by Sargent which is wider than stock and significantly more comfortable on longer rides Tires are very good, have ~ 1000 miles on them. 12k service performed at Motor Sports Plus in St. Paul including Valve check / adjustment. 6 Speed, Fuel Injected - yep, no choke to set, just turn key and start, every time LED tail lights added - come on quicker than incandescent making it safer as people see you stopping sooner. And, they look pretty cool too - they are small but bright. Factory Manual and Haynes manual included Bags included - they match the bike, fit well and store a lot of stuff. If you're looking to go for longer rides, maybe a circle tour of Lake Superior?... these are great panniers / saddle bags in good shape. A matching top bag sits on the passenger seat for additional storage. Bags by Tour Master. Originally over $300. The oil / filter was just changed. Includes 2.5 qts of Castrol Power RS 10W-40 4-Stroke Motorcycle Oil (Bought a 6 pack or 1 qt bottles and have 2.5 left over) Brand New Yuasa Battery, Clean Title Title search done with VinLeaks, Contact me for the report showing clean title Contact with any questions |

Looking after number 1
Fri, 06 Jan 2012There was a time when a rider’s number indicated his position from the previous season, with the ultimate accolade being the number 1 emblazoned on the front of the champion's bike. The rise of branding in MotoGP and a rider wanting to market themselves, born from Barry Sheene and his retention of no.7, saw riders decide against displaying their finish from the year before. Rossi, who on winning his numerous championships, stuck with his famous #46 in defence of his titles, instead of stamping a great number 1 on his bikes.
