Triumph Speed Triple description

For sale is my 2013 Triumph Speed Triple SE. I am the original owner.  Only considering selling because I don't ride it that much. No scratches. I have added a Triumph tail pack(removes by zipper) and bug shield (also removable). Only 100 of the SE's made it to U.S.. Recent service including new tires 500 miles ago.  Just added Triumph bar end mirrors.  Mileage may go up as sometimes I ride it to work (40 miles each way-all highway).  Comes with the owners manual and both keys.  I would be willing to add my riding gear (2 pair of leather gloves, one lightweight one heavy and insulated-both size M), 2 Triumph coats (one light and one heavy-both size M), and 2 helmets (Speed & Strength size M).

The Special Edition Speed Triple is also based on the current model, powered by Triumphs charismatic 1050cc three cylinder engine. Boasting a distinctive blue frame and swingarm, the Speed Triple SE comes in Matte Graphite with twin Matte Blue decals.

The special edition gets the lightweight treatment with carbon fiber front mudguard, side pods, tank cover panel and inner radiator panels.
The color-matched fly screen, belly pan and seat cowl all come as standard, as well as neat finishing details such as a rubber tank pad
and clear rear light. A new styled clutch, alternator and sprocket cover further enhances its distinctive makeover.

Finishing the dynamic look are blue wheel pinstripes, new styled mirrors and black silencer heat shields, handlebars and clamps.

Let me know if you have any questions.  Bid confidently as I have 100% eBay feedback.

Watch: 2011 Speed Triple Dyno run

Tue, 05 Apr 2011

With the full factory fitted arrow system and map fitted it was time to give the Speed a run on a Dyno to see where the power is at. Over two runs the best results were as follows; Power at the crank : 130bhp & 75 ft.lbs torque Power at the gearbox : 124bhp & 72 ft.lbs torque Power at the wheel : 119bhp & 69 ft.lbs torque The bike has covered 4200 miles and is due its first proper service at 6000 so you would expect to see a reduction in power. Triumph claim on a brand new bike the Speed Triple at best puts out 135bhp and 82 ft.lbs torque at the crank with the cans fitted, effectively mine has lost 5bhp and 7ft.lbs of torque.

Single sided chain adjustment

Wed, 14 Apr 2010

We don’t get the manuals with our long term bikes and I didn’t want swallow my pride and ask triumph how to adjust the chain on the Speed Triple. For the life of me I couldn’t figure it out. The single side swing arm with centrally mounted disk is a work of art but how the hell you are supposed to adjust the thing?

Drift 3: The Driftpocalypse!

Wed, 03 Jul 2013

Nick “Apex” Brocha and Ernie “E-Dub” Vigil are back for more motorcycle drifting action in their latest flick, Drift 3: The Driftpocalypse! In case you’re not one of the 30 million people who’ve seen the original Drift 1 or Drift 2, the setup is really quite simple: Apex and E-Dub take their specially prepared drift machines and battle it out with their four-wheeled counterparts. The rest is a tasty treat for the eyes.
