Triumph Speed Triple description

Rare! Nice Triumph Speed Triple Naked Sports Street Fighter Bike. The best year/looks/wheels/and lightest weight of all the Speed Triples! Professionally lowered 2" using Hyper Pro's Kit so that I could flat foot with a 30" inseam (Original parts are included). No wrecks, 1 owner. All recommended services performed by a Triumph dealer, well-maintained with Triumph parts or better (right now it has a K&N performance oil filter). Includes owners manual and tool kit along with both keys.

I'm a Triumph enthusiast with several classic bikes and bought this brand new to commute 100miles round trip in order to keep the miles off of my older bikes. Never abused, never wheelie'd, never raced, etc - it was treated as a Sport Tourer its entire life! Carbon Fiber Tank Protector is included. There is a 1" minor scratch/blemish on tank, 1/2" cut in seat from where a dog bit it, and minor scratches on lower engine cover. None are very noticeable or take away from the bike's good condition - see pictures. I only rode it once this year (it needed a new battery - I just replaced it with a Yuasa OEM AGM), but noticed that the low gas light doesn't seem to want to go out. We have a baby due any day now so I don't have time to look into it. Please don't waste my time and not go through with the sale - I'm only selling the bike to help pay mounting medical bills and need the money soon. The bike works well and is ready to ride. I would replace the rear tire soon however as it shows some cracking. The chain and guides could also use some degreaser.

Note! Pictured is a very rare Triumph-made grab rail "Wing" installed on the bike. It is only installed to help me move the bike around until sold. It will be available to purchase separately for $100 to the buyer of the bike - along with a sealed K&N Performance air filter, Factory Service Manual, and a rare Triumph-made tank cover/luggage tank bag with rain gear - make offer for all.

I will not entertain test rides without cash in hand - however you are more than welcome to check out the bike in person! Sorry, this is a very dangerous machine and I can't afford the liability. Clear PA title in hand. I can pick up from the nearest bus/train station or airport, but I advise not riding home unless you are seasoned on liter-class top-heavy super bikes. I won't ship it. Bike is sold as is, no warranty or guarantees, and I am not responsible for injury and damage caused on it. I am listing this priced under value for quick sale and no hassles/haggling. Low-ball offers won't be entertained, however I can make a reasonable deal with all the extras included. This is listed locally and elsewhere. I won't hold without a $500 non refundable deposit.

Church of MO: 2002 Triumph 955i Daytona First Ride

Sun, 03 Apr 2022

For a while there it looked like Triumph wanted to play the superbike game with the rest of the world. But slimming down the 955i Daytona by losing its original one-sided swingarm, and other weight-saving measures, sometimes seemed more like cost-cutting ones. And maybe Triumph sensed the imminent demise of the superbike a bit earlier than some others.

Isle of Man TT 2013: Monster Energy Supersport Race 2 Results

Wed, 05 Jun 2013

The Michael Dunlop Show continues with the 24-year-old Northern Irish racer winning his fourth race of the 2013 Isle of Man TT. His latest triumph was a victory in the second Monster Energy Supersport race, making Dunlop just the third rider to ever record four wins in a single TT week. Like his win in the Royal London 360 Superstock race, Dunlop ran most of the race in second place before setting a blazing final lap time for a come-from-behind win.

New Stuff: Bridgestone BT-016 Pro's

Thu, 24 Mar 2011

Well it was inevitable really, the gloriously sticky and not very durable Metzler Racetec K3's had seen their last mile on the Triumph. After being ripped through 2500 miles by the Speeds thumping 1050 Triple motor the rear had all but squared off. To replace them I’ve opted for Bridgestones new BT-16 Pro's because their previous incarnation had proved to offer supersport grip in the corners but also offer high mileage rates.
