Triumph Other description

You are bidding on a 1999 Triumph Legend 900cc water cooled motorcycle.  The bike has been adult owned, ridden and maintained throughout its life and is in excellent condition both mechanically and cosmetically. I am the third owner although the second owner purchased the bike from the original owner with the intent of resale.  I purchased it having sold my last "classic" Triumph and was looking for a newer bike to occasionally ride for pleasure.  I am a Triumph enthusiast and have owned, ridden and restored numerous classics from 60's machines through this 99 Legend.  The bike has low miles for its age, looks and runs like new.  It handles beautifully, is a fast, sport/touring bike and a joy to ride.  I am selling only due to needing the space and cash to fund other projects.  Included are a set of aftermarket saddle bags and an original factory windshield.  The bike doesn't need anything but a new owner who will appreciate its rarity and increasing value as a very ridable collector bike!

Please ask all questions before bidding, bid to win and winning the auction is a contract to complete the sale. I welcome and recommend any and all requests for you to view the bike personally or by your contracted professional inspector.  Don't bid if you don't intend to own it! $500.00 Down Payment via PayPal within 24 hours of auction close.  Prefer pick-up but if shipping is required, all shipping arrangements are the responsibility of the buyer.  Bike will not be released until full payment is made and clears my bank.  Don't miss this one......pictures say it all!!!

Unchained: 2013 Triumph Rocket III Free of Power Restrictions

Mon, 21 Jan 2013

Triumph has updated its Rocket III cruiser for 2013, adding more blacked-out components and a new seat, but perhaps the most significant change is what Triumph took away: the electronic torque limiter. Previous versions of the Triumph Rocket III and the Rocket III Touring variant had its power and torque neutered in the first three gears. The reins are off for 2013 however, with the Rocket III’s 2294cc engine delivering full power in all gears.

AMA Pro Racing Announces Basic Twins Flat Track Class for 2014 Season

Fri, 12 Apr 2013

AMA Pro Racing announced a new class for Flat Track racing designed to provide a new stepping stone for up-and-coming Pro-licensed racers, replacing the Pro Singles class in 2014. The new class, to be called Basic Twins, is more or less a revival of the Basic Expert Twins division that ran during the 2007 and 2008 seasons, but dropped when the Pro Singles class was introduced for 2009. The new class will give young racers a chance to showcase their skills on Twins, easing their transition to eventually enter the Grand National Expert Twins class.
