Rain Forces Triumph Castrol Rocket Team To Look To Bonneville 2015
Tue, 30 Sep 2014The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. 2013 US Motorcycle Sales Data
Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition Revealed
Thu, 15 Mar 2012Triumph revealed a limited edition model commemorating the brand’s 110th anniversary. Triumph has done a good job trading off of a history that traces back to 1902, so it’s fitting the English marque would recognize the anniversary with a special edition version of its classically-styled Bonneville T100. We had an inkling the 2012 Triumph Bonneville T100 110th Anniversary Edition was on its way after we saw its CARB approval documents a few weeks ago.
