Blind Man To Race Motorcycle At Bonneville Salt Flats Using GPS – Video

The Bonneville Salt Flats represents unique challenges, where man-made machines try and go faster than ever before. It’s a demanding event for both man and machine, which provides stories of ultimate triumphs or devastating failures. The 2013 BUB Motorcycle Speed Trials, which takes place throughout this week, will provide another such story of triumph or sorrow, as a blind man will attempt to race down the famous course.

Rain Forces Triumph Castrol Rocket Team To Look To Bonneville 2015

The past two weekends have produced more than three inches of rain and sad news for Bonneville land speed racing fans.Triumph has released it official statement regarding the announcement by Mike Cook’s Bonneville Shootout that the course will not be ready for its Triumph Castrol Rocket streamliner and others to make a 2014 FIM legal attempt at 400mph. This is not what you want to see the week before racing on the Bonneville Salt Flats. According to the PR; the exhausts offer a considerable gain in performance over the stock items (dyno results below), with a significant weight reduction. The stock exhausts top the scales at 7.2kg and with the top-of-the-range carbon slip-ons, the weight is shaved down to 3.5kg.
