Triumph Bonneville description

2006 Triumph Bonneville T100

865cc

3,411 miles

Excellent condition

This is my personal motorcycle and is in excellent condition.  There is nothing whatsoever wrong with it, I just don't ride as much as I did and time to sell it.  I believe that an open, honest, fair, no games or gimmicks, no reserve auction is the best and fairest way to sell a vehicle.  So here it is, an absolutely no reserve fair auction and a great chance to own a great very low mileage Triumph Bonneville T100.  So bid to win, because the highest bidder will win this great bike.

2012-2013 Triumph Street Triple and Daytona 675 Hit with Nissin ABS Recall

Mon, 29 Jul 2013

A manufacturing error by brake manufacturer Nissin has claimed another motorcycle maker. Triumph  is recalling the 2012-2013 Street Triple, Street Triple R, Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R because of the problem with the Nissin-supplied anti-lock brake modulator. The issue has already resulted in recalls for the 2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N, the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 (and the Ninja 250 offered in Asian markets) and the 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa.

Triumph Street Triple Used to Test Rocket Components – Video

Fri, 04 May 2012

California-based aerospace company XCOR is using a Triumph Street Triple to test rocket components for a suborbital spacecraft. Of course, what immediately comes to mind is a giant rocket strapped on to the Triumph, but the truth is much less dramatic, yet still fascinating. XCOR is using the Street Triple for endurance testing of bearings components for the rocket propellant piston pump of the Lynx suborbital spacecraft.

Watch: 2011 Speed Triple Dyno run

Tue, 05 Apr 2011

With the full factory fitted arrow system and map fitted it was time to give the Speed a run on a Dyno to see where the power is at. Over two runs the best results were as follows; Power at the crank : 130bhp & 75 ft.lbs torque Power at the gearbox : 124bhp & 72 ft.lbs torque Power at the wheel : 119bhp & 69 ft.lbs torque The bike has covered 4200 miles and is due its first proper service at 6000 so you would expect to see a reduction in power. Triumph claim on a brand new bike the Speed Triple at best puts out 135bhp and 82 ft.lbs torque at the crank with the cans fitted, effectively mine has lost 5bhp and 7ft.lbs of torque.
