Up for sale is a 1970 Triumph T120R Bonneville Motorcycle. Matching Numbers ND 30601. 7,419 Original miles. It Has been sitting since the late 1980's. Clear Title. Does not Run. Turns over with plenty of compression. Brakes do work. Shifts through the gears. Looks to be complete. Overall the chrome shows pitting/ rust but everything is solid, no rot. Gas tank has light rust inside. Seat pan is solid. Fenders have no dents. Tank has no dents. Overall would make a great project to restore. Tue, 03 May 2011Every year on the first Bank holiday in May more than 25,000 bikers take to the A21 and ride to Hastings for what is Kent’s biggest bike meet. The official route starts at Locksbottom in London and follows the A21 all the way to the coastal town of Hastings. We picked up the 50 mile spectator-clad route about half way down and in our group of 5 took a casual poodle down.
US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
2012-2013 Triumph Street Triple and Daytona 675 Hit with Nissin ABS Recall
Mon, 29 Jul 2013A manufacturing error by brake manufacturer Nissin has claimed another motorcycle maker. Triumph is recalling the 2012-2013 Street Triple, Street Triple R, Daytona 675 and Daytona 675R because of the problem with the Nissin-supplied anti-lock brake modulator. The issue has already resulted in recalls for the 2014 Honda CTX700 and CTX700N, the 2013 Kawasaki Ninja 300 (and the Ninja 250 offered in Asian markets) and the 2013 Suzuki Hayabusa.
