1966 Triumph 650 rigid hardtail bobber. Matching numbers with Highly Desirable Ceriani GP Front Forks, Lowered Springs and Arces Triple Tree w/ Steering Dampener, 16" Rear Wheel has Stainless Spokes and Nipples, New Solo Seat and Aluminum Manta Rear Fender from Lowbrow Customs (Fender still needs a brace for lower section), Flat Tracker bars. Solid bike. New Shinko Whitewall Rear Tire will be included with sale. Some odds and ends removed from original bike will also be included (Original Lucas Taillight, chopper seat, original Trophy rear fender cut and drilled with some rust). Engine was rebuilt by reputable shop with records, approximately 6,000 miles ago, also has "dry clutch". Starts First Kick! Thanks for looking!! |

Thu, 05 Jan 2012If you were a child of the seventies, you may remember Craig Vetter’s name from his previous work as a stylist (Triumph Hurricane) or his huge fairing business, Vetter Fairings. Since then, the 69 year-old industrial designer has become obsessed by fuel consumption - or rather highlighting how poor motorcycles are delivering impressive figures. He originally ran a series of fuel challenges in the eighties and now the economy has taken a nose dive, he has resurrected the competition, figuring that the time is now right to highlight these issues again. According to Vetter, three of every four American gallons of petrol is imported – reason enough to devote his time to raising awareness.

Fri, 15 Oct 2010I should have filed this blog an hour earlier but I became distracted by the human circus that is the Jeremy Kyle show. It’s a shameful admission, I know, but I’m a firm believer in the policy of honesty being the best. Enjoying the luxury of working from home, I was only making myself a bacon sandwich with the TV on in the background when excited cries of ‘Freak, Freak!’ from Mrs MF drew my attention to this (see pic).

Fri, 03 May 2024More spinning mass for the Tiger’s Triple For the 2024 model year, the US will see only the Tiger 1200 Explorer models hitting dealership floors, while our friends up north will have the Pro models only. In 2025, the whole family will be getting back together in both countries. So, for now, we’ll focus on the Tiger 1200 Explorer models and the slight revisions that Triumph brought us to the beautiful Scottish countryside just outside of Glasgow, to test out.
