Suzuki SV description

2001 Suzuki SV650 Streetfighter gas mask conversion

Up for sale is my 2001 Suzuki SV650, the bike runs great and is very fast. I haven’t had time to ride it much at all this year, so it just sits in the garage. There is one problem, it may need a regulator. I bought a new battery, but it it’s not charging like it should. I have had to recharge the battery every now and then, so I have priced it accordingly. Other than that, the bike runs great and is ready to ride anywhere. Test ride with cash in hand only.

Highlights:

·         Clear KS title in my name

·         Great tires

·         24K miles

·         $500 Scotts steering damper (stays with the bike)

·         Real gas mask installed on front

·         New handlebars

·         New grips

·         New mirrors

·         New Dominator headlights

·         New brake and clutch levers

·         New blinkers

·         Leo Vince muffler

·         Was tuned up and carbs synced in 2012

·         New fork seals in 2012

·         Radiator flushed in 2012

·         Frame sliders

·         I’ll include a nice helmet, size large

Not as good:

·         A couple of dings in the tank from previous owner

·         Regulator issue as mentioned above

I would recommend it be towed due to the regulator issue, unless your local. I don’t offer shipping, but I’ll help get the bike loaded in your truck or trailer at my residence.

Call or text John at 816-646-7730, I’ll be happy to do a walkthrough and explain everything about the bike.

$100 deposit required, the rest due in cash at time of purchase.

Stuck for a gift? Solution No3: Honda, Yamaha, Suzuki or Kawasaki merchandise

After the excesses of KTM and Harley's gifts ranges, Hondas seems tame. But even the sober Japanese firm has a handful of oddities in its line-up. The Japanese have been accused of imitating in the past, and Honda's incorporation of a baby's dummy in its official accessories catalogue mimics KTM's 'Silencer-System Mini Pro'.
