Suzuki RV90 description

Up For Bid.

A beautiful vintage 1973 Suzuki RV90 dual purpose motorcycle. I bought this from the original owner. It sat for about 15 years, all I did was clean it up, cleaned the carb, drained the old gas and changed the gear oil. It only took 4 kicks and it came back to life. It runs excellent, shifts excellent a real fun bike to ride. Its all original, it even has the air pump to adjust your tires out on the trail. There is the typical surface rust on some of the chrome, 3 tears in the seat, please see the pic, small scratches on the front fender, see pic and the petcock leaks on the off position. It will need a new 6volt battery and a light bulb the low beam is out.  Other than those couple of things this bike is in really nice condition it wont take much to restore it or use it now. I do have a clear PA title that will need to be transferred to the buyer.

Local Pick-up Only. Buyer assumes 100% responsibility for any shipping arrangements, however I will store it for a month if the bike is paid in full. Remember the title will need transferred to your name.

I have a video of it running on Youtube at the following link,  https://youtu.be/Y7JdI1bYIQI and https://youtu.be/wVSmR5s0PL0 you will have to "Copy and Paste" these links to Youtube.

Please email me with any questions, my zipcode is 17870 where the bike is stored for shipping purposes.

New ÖHLINS products for GSX-R600 & GSX-R750

Fri, 25 Mar 2011

ÖHLINS Racing has completed final testing and is now ready to launch a complete range of suspension upgrade kits for the 2011 Suzuki GSX-R600 and GSX-R750 The GSX-R600 comes equipped with Big Piston Forks (BPF) as standard but Öhlins recommends fitting its NIX30 fork kit or pressurised system.  Aside from the perfermance improvements, these systems are much quicker and more simple to adjust with compression damping on the left fork leg and rebound on the right. The Öhlins TTX36 rear shock is the perfect accompaniment for the GSX-R600 and 750 and uses MotoGP developed Twin Tube technology, improving feedback by utilising positive pressure on both the compression and rebound stroke of the shock. The forks and shock can be interchanged between the 2011 GSX-R 600 & 750.

James Stewart and the Joe Gibbs Racing MX (JGRMX) Yamaha racing team have agreed to cut ties, ending their multi-year contract after a single AMA Supercross season. Stewart almost immediately signed a new multi-year deal with Yoshimura Suzuki to compete in both the AMA Supercross and AMA Motocross Championships. Stewart had a promising start to the season with JGRMX but wasn’t as competitive as eventual champion Ryan Villopoto or Ryan Dungey.
