Suzuki Other tech info
Suzuki Other description
Up for auction with no reserve is a almost new sidecar currently fitted to a 2005 DL 1000 V-Strom. NOTE THE BIKE IS NOT FOR SALE JUST THE SIDECAR RIG. The sidecar was professionally built by Sweet Sidecars in South Carolina in 2016. Due to the fact that I have another sidecar rig, this has seen very little use (perhaps 200 miles or so) and is in perfect condition. The body is made of fiberglass and comes with two screens of different heights depending on your preference. There is storage room in the rear, accessible by unfastening and tilting the seat, and also comes with a tonneau cover for protection.
The rig is totally bolt on and does not require any permanent modification to the bike other than removing the centerstand. If sold I will remove the rig from the bike so that it is ready for collection. I will be happy to answer any reasonable questions, the rig is in Raleigh NC. Buyer will need to arrange pick up or shipping.
NOTE ALSO: I will not be available between 12/16 and 12/29 so pick up will be limited to before or after then.

Capirossi Announces Retirement at Conclusion of 2011 Season
Thu, 01 Sep 2011Loris Capirossi announced he will retire at the end of the 2011 MotoGP season, closing off a quarter century of racing including 22 years at the Grand Prix level and three World Championships. “It’s an important moment in my career, and the decision I made has come about after a lot of reflection,” says Capriossi. “I’m happy that after 25 years, of which 22 were in the world championship, I’m at a point where I can still have a smile on my lips as I part ways, even if it’s difficult to think that I won’t be riding a bike next year.” The announcement was made during a press conference at Misano for the upcoming San Marino Grand Prix, the final Italian stop of the 2011 season.
