THIS BIKE IS IN GOOD RUNNING CONDITION,TRANSMISSION SHIFTS GOOD,LIGHTS ALL IN GOOD WORKING CONDITION AS WELL, CHROME IS IN FAIR TO GOOD CONDITION, REAR TIRE IS PRETTY GOOD,BUT FRONT LOOKS TO BE ORIGINAL 1967. THIS WOULD BE AN EXCELLENT BIKE FOR A RESTORATION OR JUST RIDE IT THE WAY IT IS. THE BIKE WILL NEED A SEAT COVER AND IT HAS PIECE BROKEN OUT ON COUNTER SHAFT COVER SEE PICTURES. In front of a record crowd of 46,896, Monster Energy Kawasaki’s Ryan Villopoto raced to his second-consecutive AMA Supercross victory, an FIM World Championship, 450SX Class Main Event win at O.co Coliseum in Oakland, CA on Saturday night. Rockstar Energy Racing’s Davi Millsaps finished in second, and Red Bull KTM’s Ryan Dungey followed in third.
2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 – Gixxer Thou Updated with a Focus on Weight Savings
Mon, 24 Oct 2011Suzuki has updated its GSX-R1000 sportbike for 2012 with Brembo monobloc calipers and a new single-pipe exhaust system. Last updated in 2009, the 2012 Suzuki GSX-R1000 also receives a number of updates to the the engine to the wiring harness to even the front tire to to reduce overall weight by 4.4 pounds. The new GSX-R has a claimed curb weight of 447.5 pounds.
45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
