This bike is in EXCELLENT condition with no problems, and
has LESS than 15K miles on it. I've babied this Suzuki VS1400 Intruder; and it's always been kept in the garage. Last year, I spent $1,000 to have the front end raked out with extended forks, mini ape-hangar handlebars, saddle bags, and semi-loud pipes. This spring, I spent $700 at Prattville PowerSports having a complete tune up, new starter, and carburetor rebuilt. The only issue this bike has is a couple of dents on the gas tank (you can see in the photos), but there's no rust on the dents. I bought it that way 5 years ago and just never got around to fixing them. This year, I bought a gallon of auto-body filler ("bondo"), but since I've never done any "body work," I was too chicken to try to fill the small dents, then give it a new paint job. I'll give you the new gallon of filler and wish you luck. :^D The wife says I have to sell it. Isle of Man TT 2014: Monster Supersport TT 2 Results
Wed, 04 Jun 2014Michael Dunlop led from start to finish to win the second Supersport TT race, giving him 10 TT victories in his career, tying him with the likes of Giacomo Agostini. Dunlop also joins sidecar racer Robert Fisher, Ian Lougher and Stanley Woods with 10 wins apiece, all tied for seventh overall on the all-time wins list. Riding his MD Racing Honda CBR600RR, Dunlop got off to a strong start, recording a time of 17:55.817 on the opening lap, giving him a 4.6-second advantage over fellow Honda rider Bruce Anstey.
Isle of Man TT 2013: Dainese Superbike Race Results
Mon, 03 Jun 2013It was delayed by a day but the Isle of Man TT’s Dainese Superbike race finally went underway Sunday. Originally scheduled to open the 2013 Isle of Man TT, the race was pushed back a day because poor weather earlier in the week prevented proper practice and qualifying. Even then, the Superbike race was delayed 45 minutes from its rescheduled start time due to a traffic accident.
