Suzuki Intruder description

Selling my 2002 Suzuki VS1400 Intruder.  Mechanically on a scale of 1-10 the bike is a 10. It has a ton of power and sounds great as well. I just got it out of shop where it had a full service starting with a oil and filter change, rear end gear oil (hypoid oil), new K&N air filters, new sparkplugs, new front tire ( rear is about 75%), I had the shop check the jetting on the carbs to make sure it had proper jetting for the K&N filters and the straight exhaust. Bike runs very well and is very responsive. EVERYTHING works perfect, shifts really well. Starts at a touch and will idle all day. Also had shop check compression and both cylinders are at 184 psi. Cosmetically in my opinion the bike is a 7 out of 10. The tank has a couple of dings on bottom left and one on the side,  nothing serious...get what you can from the pics. The front fender has some scrapes on the very tip, and the only other thing is on the right side engine cover looks like someone tried to buff on it and scared it a little.  Cosmetically, the things I have listed really don't stand out, but you know they are there. All in all I would give the entire bike a 8/9 out of 10 for a 2002 model. It looks great, sounds great and runs like any torque monster you've ever been on. No Harley will leave you behind. The bike looks black however in the sun it has blue flakes, very faint though. IF you have any questions feel free to give me a call 4796478145. I can send you a video via text, just let me know. I can do a little driving to meet. Thanks for your time.

Air Research Suzuki GTP 550 Turbine Cafe Racer

Tue, 25 Sep 2012

Emile van Essen is from North Holland and, in a stroke of brilliance/lunacy, has replaced the original two-stroke three-cylinder of a 1976 Suzuki GT550 with a turbine. Sadly it does take a bit of time to get going, although any displeasure you might feel as a result would no doubt be offset by the joy of riding down the street emitting an ear-splitting howl, shattering glass and generally disturbing the peace.

2023 Suzuki GSX-8S First Look

Tue, 08 Nov 2022

Suzuki's all-new platform is a sign of things to come. At long last, the spiritual successor to Suzuki’s wildly popular SV650 (but not the actual successor, the SV is still staying in the Suzuki lineup) is finally here. Say hello to the GSX-8S, a motorcycle Suzuki says was “engineered from the ground up as an innovative path for future Suzuki sportbikes…” While we all process what that means for Suzuki’s future, let’s delve into the present day and take a closer look at Suzuki’s new middleweight naked bike.

New Delhi Auto Expo 2012 – Motorcycle Manufacturers Draw Battle Lines for World’s Second Largest Market

Mon, 09 Jan 2012

In past years, the biennial Auto Expo in India slipped under the radar while the industry was focused more on shows such as EICMA in Italy and Intermot in Germany. But with India’s middle class starting to flex its financial muscle while other markets continue to struggle, the New Delhi show is becoming much more prominent, with major OEMs positioning themselves to claim a piece of the India’s 13 million vehicles-a-year market. We’ve already looked at India-produced Royal Enfield’s new Thunderbird 500 and Hero Moto’s hybrid scooter concept which debuted at the Auto Expo, and today we’ll look at what the major international OEMs presented.
