Pedrosa: most wins, least successful

Should Dani Pedrosa win at Le Mans this coming weekend he will become the most successful rider In the premier-class not to win the coveted title. After his triumph in Estoril the Repsol Honda rider currently finds himself on 13 wins and in joint first and a win, at a circuit that sees him rank as one of riders with the most victories in all classes, would make him a clear leader. Joining Pedrosa at the top of the ranking is Max Biaggi and Randy Mamola, two riders who became associated with the number two.

AIMExpo Celebrates Its 300th Vendor

With the signing of B&W Trailer Hitches the American International Motorcycle Expo (AIMExpo) has committed 300 exhibitors to its inaugural event this October in Orlando, Fla. “To think that just three weeks ago we were announcing our 250th exhibitor and to now be at a point where 50 more brands have committed to the expo is absolutely remarkable,” says Larry Little, VP and GM of the Marketplace Events Motorcycle Group. Suzuka Eight Hour capers

Chatting to TT legend John McGuiness recently about his first Suzuka Eight Hour experience got me thinking of a few capers the boys and me managed a few years back at what is still Japan's most important race of the season. It is a unique event that starts at 11am and finishes at 7pm making  it a pukka endurance race as the last hour is run with headlights on in the dark. It is essentially an eight hour sprint that showcases the trickest endurance machinery and manufacturer’s sales can be affected the following year depending on who wins or loses.
