Selling my 08 gsxr 750 with only 6300 miles due to a prior neck injury that makes it uncomfortable to enjoy riding anymore. the bike is really clean. will come with 2 helmets, a men's black leather reflective riding jacket, riding boots, gloves, 2 bike stands, and a lot of stock parts.
mods: full yosh carbon fiber pipe header back cat delete k&n filter, upgraded intakes with titanium rings pc3 ignition module with quick shift under tail billet license plate bracket with led powder coated rear sets brand new Bridgestone b016 front and back brand new ebc race pads front and back asv unbreakable black levers upgraded chain smoke screen custom stitched seats integrated smoke tail lights. tank pad HID headlights brand new gel rubber grips crash cage on it now and i also have new frame sliders to go with the bike. viberider bar ends, spools gpr steering dampener bikes track ready. Wed, 23 May 2012You've probably seen the video of Simon Crafar smoking up the 2012 GSX-R1000 at Almeria. Impressive stuff. Suzuki are (correct me if I'm wrong) the last manufacturer of an inline four superbike not to offer it with some sort of electronic rider aids.
Suzuki Reports Q3 2013-2014 Sales Results
Fri, 07 Feb 2014Suzuki reported a 13.1% decrease in motorcycle sales volume over the first three quarters of its 2013-2014 fiscal year, but still managed a 17.8% increase in net sales from its motorcycle division. That may seem like a paradox, but the results can be explained by a more favorable exchange rate for the Japanese yen and by looking closer at where those sales decreases took place. The yen has turned around significantly over the last year and a half, vastly improving how foreign sales affect Suzuki’s bottom line.
45,367 Motorcycle Thefts Reported in US in 2013
Tue, 10 Jun 2014Americans reported 45,367 stolen motorcycles in 2013, down 1.5% from 2012, reports the National Insurance Crime Bureau‘s latest Motorcycle Theft and Recovery Report. According to the NICB motorcycle thefts have been on the decline every year since 2007 when 65,678 motorcycles were reported stolen, though the overall trend appears to be leveling off. Japanese motorcycles continue to be the most popular target for thieves.
