Up for sale is my 2006 GSXR 1000
If you have done any research about GSXR'S then you know the 05-06 1000 is the one to have. As you see in the photo's this bike is very clean with some one-off bits,the tail lights are as rare as hen's teeth I can honestly tell you that you will never find another set anywhere. As for the wheels, they are Performance Machine Strut, I get more complements on these wheels than I can tell you..I've put a lot of time and money in this bike and it really shows..To be very honest this bike would never see the pages of ebay if it wasn't for the pressure from the wife... The 240 swap was done at around 6575 miles, it's literally been sitting in the garage other than a rip down the back street just to trip out the neighborhood and break there necks.. Why I love BSB's Showdown
Thu, 26 Sep 2013It has lovers, haters and even many that still don't understand it but everyone in British bike racing is currently talking about the BSB Showdown. With my rider's or team manager's hat on, I wasn't convinced when it was first announced in 2010 but I'm now totally converted and enjoy every part of the season as intensity increases. And being a value for money Scot the best thing is you get four championships under one umbrella. Championship # 1; In the early rounds everyone on the grid has aspirations of taking the title but as the season progresses, the focus narrows down to making sure you secure that top six showdown spot over the first nineteen races (riders can also drop their worst two results). Championship #2; For the confident front runners, over these races, the real goal is the podium credit championship (3 for 1st ,2 for 2nd,1 for 3rd) which then gives them a points head start after things are put back to zero for the final seven race shoot-out. Championship #3; The best of the rest championship (7th and below) that will be battled over the final races. Championship # 4; Over the final seven races the British Superbike Champion is crowned. The recent adding and reshuffling a few top name riders for the Showdown has already spiced things up so hold on tight for the remaining five races!
WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
